Aaron Baughman
Urban Farm Coordinator

Aaron has been honored to “live the dream, as an urban farm manager” since spring of 2025 here at Toledo GROWs. He holds a degree in Environmental Education from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, as well as a Masters in Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He has also spent time studying in Mexico, El Salvador, Thailand, and Berlin, Germany.

Aaron loves being outside and has worked at more than 15 camps and environmental education centers across the United States. He flew bald eagles in Alabama, taught composting in the mountains of North Carolina, and led night hikes in upstate New York. Here at Toledo GROWs, Aaron plans and plants crops, manages seedlings, leads volunteers, and keeps farm equipment in top shape – all while sharing his knowledge about gardening and the environment.

When Aaron is not at Toledo GROWs, he serves alongside his wife, Patty, as pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in South Toledo. When Aaron is not hiking or biking with his dog, Acorn, he is folk dancing with his two children or traveling the world with Patty. He also serves as an assistant Cub Master.
