Wren Johnson
Farm Assistant
Wren brings a passion for sustainable agriculture, public health, and hands-on community work to Toledo GROWs. He holds a BS in Public Health and has worked with conservation-focused organizations including Toledo Metroparks and the 577 Foundation. After spending three years with Toledo GROWs as an intern and part-time team member, he joined the staff full-time as Urban Farm Assistant, where his growing experience and commitment to environmental stewardship shine through.
In his role, Wren supports the Farm Manager with daily operations and farm projects, contributing to planning, planting, harvesting, and the care of the farm’s chickens, helping ensure the farm runs smoothly and continues to thrive.
Outside of work, Wren enjoys sewing and clothing repair, upcycling and sustainable living, nature sketching, cooking, reading, and attending local art events.
